A Baby Bottle Boomerang project is an easy, no-hassle way for your church or group to support Mercy Ministries.
Here is how it works:
What is my timeline?
Plan when you want to start and end the campaign. Many churches run the project for 4 weeks. For example, beginning on Mother’s Day and ending on Father’s Day.
Mercy will provide you with a short video to promote the campaign.
What is my goal?
Most churches or groups raise between $1,500 and $8,000, so aim high!
Who will be a part of the campaign?
- Church
- Sunday School
- Bible study group
- VBS
- Christian School
- Homeschool Co-Op
- Youth Group
Some churches or groups compete to see which group can raise the most!
What type of campaign do I want to hold?
- Traditional – Mercy will deliver empty bottles for your church or group to fill with spare change, cash, and checks. At the end of the campaign, Mercy will pick up your filled bottles and get back to you with the total amount raised. Churches can also take the proceeds to the bank and write Mercy a check, if they prefer.
- Virtual – Mercy will create a giving link for you to share with your congregation or group. This link allows members to give online to the campaign and see when the goal is reached. This is the easiest option as there are no bottles to collect or cash to count!
- Hybrid – Mercy will provide you with the online giving link and the baby bottles, so that everyone can get involved in giving.
The Baby Bottle Boomerang Campaign is an important part of Mercy’s annual budget and is a great way to get all ages involved in supporting Life!
Our goal is to raise $40,000 in 2025!
